HEARTS AND HOOVES BOARD OF DIRECTORS
"No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle."
- Winston Churchill

All of us on the Hearts & Hooves Board of Directors have at some point looked inside ourselves to find what we have to give. Each of us found a desire to help, an empathy for differently-abled children and young adults, and an understanding of the healing nature of horses. Winston Churchill once said, “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.” And we believe it!
Each of us holds an individual membership in the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship. PATH membership requires a commitment to professionalism, safety and ethical practices in the equine-assisted activities and therapies (EATT) industry. As PATH members, we have access to leading-edge resources, educational material and industry standards.
As a Board, we strive to advocate for student needs in an assertive and professional manner, working alongside school administration, adult service providers and the community.
